- The code must be well-documented and the changes be identified (in the code itself).

- Basically, you need to make a power-point presentation that demonstrates that you did a great job.
- Again, you need to discuss the used software/tools (Darwin Server, etc.) and the changes have been made (to which module and how, and which new modules are designed, etc.).
- Include some slides of the new/modified code.
- Also please bring with you a working version of the code to demonstrate the changes, how to run the program, and how the evaluation results were produced.

- Notes about the Presentations:
- The calendar has been posted. Please e-mail me with your preferences soon: 4-5 topics in decreasing order of preference.
- A presentation is like an exam. So please prepare well and take it seriously.
- The presentation and discussions should take the entire class time.
- I'll give some presenters some additional material that help them prepare their presentations.
- Hints for Project Proposals:
- You should start looking for a suitable topic this week. Don't Delay!
- You can generally choose any topic on Multimedia, but it is highly recommended that you choose something that best fits your interests and background.
- In addition to the presentations' topics, you can choose from the following topics: I/O Support for Multimedia, Multimedia Proxy Servers and Internet QoS.
- Go quickly through the reference material. If they look interesting, then read them more and carefully. You may need to read some of their cited papers if they seem interesting.
- Search for other and possibly newer papers on your selected topic(s) in Citeseer, ACM, and IEEE.
- Go quickly through these papers and identify a few helpful ones among them for careful (thorough) reading.
- Now examine your options as to what you can do. Do you think of any new ideas to solve an important problem? Do you think there is an opportunity to enhance some proposed algorithms/techniques? Can you expand on some existing and important paper? etc.
